   WATER CRISIS

THE

Nearly 2 million residents of Goma rely on raw lake water distributed by water tankers.

We intend to solve this problem by:

Treating a whole lot of water, sell at low cost and repeat.

Packaging include 5-gallon containers (18.9L) [pictured below], 1L, 500ml. In addition, Kivu will franchise water tanks to vendors and single large consumers and will supply water on a demand basis. The goal is to create a triangle that connects the need for water with access  water, which ultimately leads to profitability for our company.

KIVU brings to the market the option allowing low-income households to lease the bottle and the water dispenser at no cost. The company will loan them for free under the agreement that the customer would make a minimum purchase of one 5-gallon bottle per week.

The water stand is financed to the customer at ($2/month) under the agreement that they would make a minimum purchase of one 5-gallon per week. The financing is for two 2 years at which point the company may choose to give it away. We believe by offering customers products that offer multiple functions is a very big competitive advantage.

Our franchise model will create jobs and empowerment opportunities. The goal here is to supply water to our partners on wholesale price, enabling them to sell it at a profit, benefitting them personally while scaling our business to reach several thousand households per day. KIVU will prioritize women to own and operate our kiosks thus generating an average income of over $500 per month.
